The Sky is the sixth world that Mario encounters.
Geography[]
The Sky is, as it's name says, located in the skies above the Plains. Mario can walk on clouds here, and on these clouds, many levels are found. In the newer demos, there is a giant green island in the sky that contains some levels as well.

The map uses graphics from the intro of the game Seiken Densetsu 3 (aka Secret of Mana 2).
The music is "Ride On" from the game Final Fantasy VIII.
Trivia[]
- This World is referred to in the second level of World 1: Beautiful Flight. In the level, a message box says Mario has stolen Kirby's flying powers, but Kirby is in the Sky, so he can't get revenge on him.
