The Plains Star (こうげんのスター / Kougen no Suta. Lit: "Plateau Star") is the fifth level of the Star Road. It has a secret exit that turns the level into a Warp Star, like most of the levels in the Star World.

The Level[]

Mario starts surrounded by breakable bricks from Super Mario Bros. 3 (All Stars) and there is a Cape Feather in front of Mario, you need to get it fi you want to progress throught the level, farther there is a Red Koopa Troopa, and the rest of the level is basically lots of breakable bricks and enemies. Be careful, as if you lose your Feather, you will have to wait for the time to run out as there will be no way to advance in the level.

Secret Exit[]

Somewhere in the maze of the bricks, there is one with backwards animation, inside it there is a P-Switch, it can be found near the right side near the top of the level. You need to grab the switch and go all the way down the level, press it to turn the bricks into coins and fall all the way down throught the level, the key and the keyhole are there.
