Luigi World

The final frontier

The Mushroom Kingdom (キノコおうこく, kinoko oukoku) is the (as of yet unfinished) ninth and final World of Brutal Mario. It is planned to have 10 levels: three side normal levels, which unlock the main path, four main normal levels, two castles and the final level of the game.

Geography[]

The Mushroom Kingdom is a rather gloomy sight compared to the other Worlds. A ruined landscape surrounds the player, with Peach's Castle creeping in the horizon. Level dots are replaced with skulls for this world and this world only. After completing Peach's Castle, the Luigi Omen awaits Mario in the overworld.

Levels[]

These are the confirmed levels for this World. Only Rescue Yoshi, Maze Cave 2 and Koindozer Forest are remotely finished.

Graphics & Music[]

The graphics in this World are from the ending of Romancing SaGa 3 (also used when you game over in the final boss battle), and King K. Rool's castle from the overworld of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong-Quest.

The skulls are from the boss lifebars in Mega Man & Bass.

The Luigi Omen's overworld graphic is the Black Omen from Chrono Trigger.

The main theme of Live-A-Live is played on the map.
