Four-Color Fort (4 しょくのとりで 4 Shoku no Toride) is the eight level of the World 7.

The Level

The level is based on the Switch Palace colors - blue, red, green and yellow. The first part of the level is a breeze if you have all four of the switches pressed.

After fighting Lightgazer, the player is sent to a room with four different challenges:

1. The first one is a flow line puzzle, in which the player needs to bring the four different shells to their corresponding color.
2. The second one is a rhythm puzzle, in which the player presses buttons corresponding to the song the stones are playing.
3. The third one is room with a bunch of colored switch blocks. Depending what switches you press will change the background's color, and will determine what colored wall is intangible.
4. The fourth one has four different baby yoshis, when in reality they are items in disguised. You must use them to get to the door. The yellow yoshi is a cheep-cheep, the blue one is a p-switch, the green one is a koopa shell, and the red one is a key.

Once you complete all the challenges, the door to the boss will reveal itself.
